2016 was full of so many incredible things for Violette Field Threads! We started the year with the Give Hope campaign and were absolutely overwhelmed by the amazing outpouring of love and donations! Our customers were so supportive and generous and after all donations were accounted for we found that we exceeded our goal and we were able to send your beautiful creations to not one, but two charitable organizations!
It meant so much to us to send these beautiful outfits to Casa Guatemala. We were also so thrilled to partner with Livie and Luca shoes, we were overjoyed when they offered to donate a pair of shoes to each and every little girl at Casa Guatemala! It truly was the best way to start the new year!
In March and April we opened the VFT Sewing Studio to our customers and hosted a series of retreats. These were fun filled weekends, full of sewing, beautiful fabrics, delicious food, laughter, and forming new friendships!
We also released so many new patterns in 2016, it's impossible to choose a favorite!!
This year we also had the opportunity to collaborate with one of our favorite fabric designers--- the incredibly talented Bari J!! Together we dreamed up the Boho Collection. Four new patterns and gorgeous new Bari J fabrics...what could be better??!!
We were also able to expand our offering of baby patterns this year, which is something we're hoping to continue on in the future. This year we added Georgia, Pearl, Matilda, Rosemary and Lauren to our baby sizes.
Finally this year, we introduced our new line of Stuffed Animal patterns and a line of 18" doll clothing patters! Of course, those doll clothes fit our cute little stuffed animals, too!
We hope you had fun looking back through our 2016! It was an exciting and busy year for us. We can't wait for 2017 and have already been busy planning lots of new things! We wish all of you the very best and thank you for your continued support!
