My all time favorite winter activity was always baking and decorating roll-out cookies with my Grandma, whom I was very close to (and was the sewist of the family- I didn’t learn from her like I should have, but she’s the reason I decided to try it out years after she passed as a way to feel close to her!). Now I decorate the cookies with my own kiddos and I love her even more— either I was a “better” kid than my own, or she had the patience of a goddess 😂😂😂
My favorite winter activity is doing the 25 days of Christmas advent calendar with my babies.
I love to sit and be with my family by the light of the Christmas tree.
My favorite activity is drinking tea and reading books.
Sewing while baking or making candy. It is too hot here to do much baking in the summer and candymaking is strictly a winter activity.
