Welcome to Violette Field Threads! My love for design and sewing began as a child, enchanted by the fabrics, tools, and “bits and bobs” in my grandmother's sewing room. The endless possibilities of what could be created captivated me, sparking a lifelong passion that eventually became the foundation of my sewing pattern company, Violette Field Threads.
Years later, as a young adult, my fiancé surprised me with a sewing machine, encouraging me to fully explore my creativity. Over 15 years ago, I started drafting my own patterns when I couldn't find designs that matched the sketches and ideas I had in mind. This led to the creation of Violette Field Threads—a company dedicated to empowering others to create clothing and accessories that are as unique and beautiful as the people who wear them.

I had only been sewing children's clothing for 1 year when I was introduced to Violette Field Threads Pattern Company by a friend, and fell in love. Designing has always been a dream of mine, and I'm so proud to be a part of this incredible team. The pleasure I have when creating a design and sewing it up for my daughters, and seeing others do so is indescribable. I also enjoy the photography side of designing, capturing the details of each design is so much fun! I couldn't ask for a more fulfilling occupation. I live in a small country town in Mississippi, along with my three gorgeous daughters. I enjoy the outdoors, photography, and designing of course.
