Noelle {A Vintage Inspired Coat}
We have always been inspired by vintage, classic designs and our newest coat sewing pattern has our vintage loving hearts swooning!!!! Noelle was designed not just to keep you little ones warm, which it most certainly will, but also to have them looking absolutely darling at the same time. This sweet little PDF sewing pattern will be releasing in our Black Friday sale, that starts this Wednesday.
Noelle is a classic coat with a beautifully finished inside and an incredible amount of options for all the fine details. Just check out those precious sleeve tabs!! And the pockets…oh, the pockets!! This pattern is available with not one, but TWO styles to choose from - either welt pockets or hidden side seam pockets. Never made welt pockets? Well you will be a pro after you follow our step by step instructions included in the sewing tutorial.
Noelle can be sewn with a gathered skirt bottom or a pleated skirt bottom, in either a full length or a layering length The layering length is shown in our pictures. Finish it off with an optional bow back and your little one is going to have everyone ooh-ing and aah-ing over how precious she is in her Mommy made (or Grandma made) couture attire.
The fabrics for our Noelle coats are from Mood Fabric (blue tweed coating) and Jo Ann Fabrics (cream coating). There are so many beautiful options available to make the coat you are dreaming up!! How about a chance to win a gift card to Mood to purchase your dream fabric?!

My dream Noelle coat would be a in a beautiful gray woo . I would definitely make the pleated version for the coat. It would have a detachable fur collar and fur cuffs for the sleeves in a similar gray color to match the coat. The buttons would be some pearl cluster buttons.
This coat is so lovely 🤩 I dreaming about making one for my granddaughter. Red wool with some details in red and maybe some black velvet. It would have been perfect for the upcoming holidays and the Norwegian winter.
So excited to make these for my girls. Imagining a teal coloured tweed or wool blend, or even a corduroy with a gorgeous mustard/autumn coloured lining.
