I have been a seamstress for more than 50 years. Although I love the pattern, I found the direction s bit confusing. I did get it together and it is lovely.
The Violet pattern went together like a dream, and my grand daughter loves it. The long line of the bodice fits her so beautifully.
This is a gorgeous little dress. i made it for my granddaughter to wear to a wedding. Made with a cotton bodice and mountains of tulle and net for the skirt!! The tulle and netting was alittle bit of a nightmare to gather, but so worth the effort- it looked amazing!

Fabulous party dress
This was my first experience of working with these types of slippery and fine fabrics. The pattern was fantastic and walked me through step by step with pictures along the way. I have used VFT patterns before so I was confident they would be the best choice to start on these types of dresses.

Great. I had contact with an associate who quickly answered all my questions during the process. How can I send you pictures? I made two dresses for my great granddaughters ages 5 years and the baby 10 months. Both fit perfectly using the pattern guidelines. The dresses are flower girl dresses.

Flower girl dress
I used the Chloe pattern to remake my 35 year old well preserved bridal gown into a flower girl dress for my daughters wedding. I thought the pattern and instructions were wonderful. I can’t wait to see the dress on the sweet little girl and am so glad I could so perfectly repurpose my wedding gown!

Wonderful pattern
I made two and the second came out a little better. The advice for gathering the skirt is excellent and essential. I used upholstery thread attached with a long narrow zig zag. It is a very good idea to loosen the bobbin thread on that zig zag. Also watch carefully to make sure you don’t catching that upholstery thread when stitching the skirt. I was completely unable to top stitch the band in front and ended up stitching by hand. I strongly recommend the Casa tulle from Joanne’s. It has a much nicer hand and drape than others.

Beautiful dress
The dress is truly beautiful and my granddaughter squealed with delight when she received it. The bodice is white with ribbon rosettes interwoven into the bodice and the skirt is a white chiffon. It’s a little over the top but lots of make believe fun.

Perfect princess dress!
This is a great pattern. Very well written and so few pattern pieces. My only suggestion would be to include button placement on the pattern, or a more explicit guideline. But that isn’t a big deal and one can figure it out. I’ll be making a thousand of these, I can already tell.

Easier than I thought it was to make. There were some ladies who said the sizing was off in this pattern, but I didn’t have any issues and didn’t have to adjust. I would assume you can adjust this according to measurements if needed, but like I said, I didn’t have to!

I used this beautiful pattern to make a flower girl dress for my Granddaughter. She is four, it turned out beautiful. I had to use size 3 because she is petite. The chiffon was hard to work with, so slippery. It is pale pink with a green sash.
