Daisy Shorts Success!
I made two pairs each of these shorts for two of my granddaughters. The first pairs were plain and the second pairs had some flair. My 11 & 12 year old granddaughters loved both pairs!

My first pair were not so easy. I found some of the directions confusing concerning the pockets. But, I did figure it out and finished the shorts. My 2nd pair were much easier and much better. The curve at the side of the shorts is a bit tricky. I wish there was a no-curve version included.

Love VFT patterns! These shorts are so cute. For the trim on the pockets I’ve been using those stitches on your sewing machine you never get to use! They turn out so cute and the fit is great on my little 2T granddaughter. Keep’em coming!

The daisy shorts are a quick sew, but still have that litle extra that all the VFT patterns have. I also like that I could adjust the size perfectly with the waist elastic for perfect fit at the very end.

Great shorts pattern!
This was exactly what I wanted! Its a very easy pattern that is easy to modify to get exactly what you want. I was able to lengthen it to suit my preferences and even easily square off the side seams to make shorts for my boys as well. I'm very slow at sewing, yet could complete a pair in just over an hour!
