This is a great sew pattern. Easy directions perfect look
This was the second tween pattern from Violette Field Threads that I've tackled, and it turned out great! While I struggled a bit with my choice of fabric (too slippery and shifty for my taste), the pattern was lovely to work with. I ended up with a shirt that looks like it could come from the trendy stores my daughter loves, instead of screaming 'homemade.' I made the shirt with longer sleeves and exposed zipper. I'm a fan of these patterns!
Easy and fit was perfect
The pattern was well written, easy to use and looks great. The sizing was generous so I did a 12, based oh the measurement chart, but probably could have done the 10. I made the first one with a simple flannel tunic and long sleeves for winter. Now I plan to use some prettier fabric and make a dress version. I highly recommend this pattern, especially if you have a tween who doesn't like anything tight or elastic at the waist.
