I made the knee length Cosette for my preschool aged daughter in a cotton print, and she absolutely loves it! The full skirt twirls nicely when she spins, and the cascading ruffles down the back are adorable on her.
The pattern was clear and easy to understand, and the instructions were good as well. My one complaint is the pictures in the instructions use a rather busy fabric, which can make it harder to see details of construction in the pictures.
This was an easy pattern to follow and the results were beautiful!
I made this dress for my daughter for a photo shoot and it was so beautiful. The skirt is full, the straps are to die for and the pleated front added just the right texture. My only complaint is the internal construction. I didn't like exposed seams straight up the sides along the whole length of the dress. I wish it at least had enclosed side seams as most of your dresses do.
I loved the finished product of Cosette but would like to see a different construction for the bodice to have the side seams enclosed if possible. Also, it would be great to have an option in the pattern for doing buttonholes for the ties instead of the loop on the back bodice. Overall, though, as always, I am very happy with my purchase.
