Isobel is a darling pinafore dress and top! Isobel features a bodice with a square neckline and side panels with optional side ties. The bodice can also feature optional square flutter sleeves.
The Isobel skirt can be made as either a single skirt or a double skirt with bottom hem ruffle. The double skirt creates extra volume for an extra special look! Both versions close in the back with a double row of buttons.

This is my third Isobel but the first one I have made for my own beautiful grand-daughter!! I was so excited to find the perfect fabric for her first "Bee-Day" birthday party!! This dress is to die for and paired with the Ruby diaper cover is just SO cute!!! I love everything about it and will continue to make these until she outgrows the pattern (or until she's old enough to pick something new for herself!!) :-) It is just so easy to put together and the gathering on this one went flawlessly. Still in love after making the first one several years back when one of the attys I work for had a new little lady. So loved! (and if you make the Ruby diaper cover, the butt ruffles are LIFE, so even though they seem like a problem, they are every bit WORTH it!)
