Pearl Baby will be a favorite for all seasons. Pearl is a dress or a pinafore, both versions have the option to be fully reversible!! A sweet flutter sleeve is included, but Pearl is just as adorable sleeveless or layered over a long sleeve in cold weather.
The pinafore version can close with ties or buttons (only on the bodice). The dress version closes with buttons all the way down the back. Pearl features a full skirt that every girl loves!

A lovely dress
Instructions were very easy to follow. The enclosed seams make it a perfect gift for babies! I made this as a baby gift and it could not have been more perfect!
Excellent pattern, Excellent instructions
I have purchased several patterns but this is the first one I’ve made. The pattern was easy to assemble and the tutorial was easy to follow. The dress turned out gorgeous. Cute pattern.
Easy to make, adorable end result. The only confusion I had was with sizing because I wanted to make it as just a dress, so not as roomy. I sized down and decreased seam allowance around neckline and it fit better.

I have been sewing most of my life and I am 67. I felt the instructions were for those who had not sewn before. I know how pieces should fit together and I also know short cuts that are easier. I ended up using my knowledge of how pattern pieces should fit and did not follow the directions because I felt there were easier ways to put the pieces together. I love the dress and pinafore but I did not rely on the instructions. I also was disappointed that the pattern shows dresses with sleeves but there were no patterns with sleeves in them so I took the sleeve from a store bought pattern that I had and devised a way to make the dress reversible including the sleeves. I would recommend the pattern for those who have not sewn much or are beginners.

I have made pearl several times. In my opinion I think this is one of the easiest patterns. It comes together quickly and beautifully every time. All of vft patterns have the best instructions. The photos and steps make any project possible. I love this pattern so much I have it in all sizes girls, doll, and baby.
Poor
I never got my antique baby doll,outfit. So I hate you're stuff. Do you know how long I looked for that 1 special dress? 2 years! Now I'm left with nothing! So, I'll continue my search and tell everyone not to use you.
