Lovely dress, harder sew

I purchased this pattern for the sew along and boy did I struggle! With all of the VFT patterns I’ve used this one is the one I struggled with the most. It helped me make a lovely dress but perhaps because I usually have found VFT patterns to be seamless and easy this one threw me through a loop! I finally finished it but I did feel like my inexperience showed through with this pattern, where usually it doesn’t with other VFT patterns. I’ll have to try a Primrose in an “every day” look rather than the tulle version next and see how it compares!

Gorgeous

I love these patterns. They are so pretty and timeless. This was my first experience with digital patterns. It wasn’t easy to assemble but I do like having the ability to cut the different sizes and that my pattern paper isn’t as flimsy at traditional patterns. I’d prefer video instruction over the written ones with pics but I’m sorting it out and excited to soon have a finished product for my granddaughters.
