The cute suspender style straps are held together in the back with either ribbon ties or a little button tab. Lulu features a short zipper closure in the back.

Perfect pattern Perfect fit
The directions on this are wonderful as well as the fit. It was my first zipper I have ever put in and it turned out perfect. I was worried about the fit since I was making this for a child without measurements but it fit true to size. Always happy with with Violette Field Threads Patterns.

The Lulu is pinafore perfection!
I love this pinafore! I am somewhat a beginner, and the pattern was so easy to follow and the results are just adorable. I love that it can be paired with dresses or a top and jeans or leggings. I did the button tab and love it. I will be making many more!!

I haven’t used the pattern yet. But was compelled to purchase after watching Gab N Gush from Farm House Fabrics. My girls really like a poofy shirt and I will be able to achieve a full puffy underskirt with this pattern. I’m itchin to be stitchin on LuLu!

As always, pattern is straight forward and easy to follow. I used it for a costume but am definitely going to use it again for one of her regular dresses. It’s a quick, easy sew with so many possibilities. Love the circle skirt vs gathered.

I always have outstanding results with your patterns. Great instructions. The patterns are unique to themselves. By that, I mean you don't just take a pattern and stick a ruffle on it or add a sash and call it a new pattern. I love being able to coordinate fabrics. I love our FB group. Most of the time we can get a question answered there and leave your time for more designs.
