Lola top
This was the very first pattern I followed after only sewing for 2 months. I loved it and it turned out amazing !! I also did the matching doll at the same time. My daughter loves it and wears it with pride, when someone compliments her on it she is sure to say that her mommy made it.
Free Lola dress
Very nice pattern, I made a dress length. My daughter loves it! My negative point : the measurements are only in inches, I had to convert everything in cm,and it took more time than cutting the pieces !;)
Step by step guidance
I’m relatively new to the sewing world. I’ve always considered myself a survivalist sewer but recently I got my own machine and I’ve started branching out. I trudged through some traditional patterns that come in the envelopes at craft stores and really struggled making heads and tales of their instructions I was able to make what the pattern indicates but with a lot of guess work so I approached these patterns assuming it would be a similar experience. Completely different: I love the pattern and guide: the patterns are so clever and hide the “work” well without difficult extras. The instructions led me step by step through the pattern and made it so much more pleasant and easy to follow instruction! I’m really pleased and so glad they offered a free tutorial so I could sew along and tell for myself just how much of a difference there is! Super happy and will be purchasing again soon!
Love it!
I love VFT! This free Lola pattern was the perfect start. Easy to follow (for the most part) and I just love the quality when they're finished.

Penelope dress
Of all the patterns That I have from you, I only get to sew PENELOPE DRESS, for now hehe I think this pattern can be used the whole year round, it is so versatile. And I love it. Can sew a casual dress for daily use, a sundress and a formal dress for parties, so amazing with just one pattern I can sew anything. Also the instruction that comes with it is cleverly elaborated. Thank you VFT and more power!
Cute Top
The Lola top was really easy to make (and I'm a novice at this). I paired it with Daisy shorts in a cute mint and white combo of fabrics. The outfit drew a couple of comments at church, and a few days later my daughter-in-law said a woman at the grocery commented on my granddaughter's outfit and asked where she bought it! Being told it was "Nana made" she then asked if I ever sell my things!
Fast sew!
I needed a quick pattern for an up-cycled maxi-to-knee adult dress to be magiced into a Mommy & Me set. Lola was perfect for using the extra fabric from Moms dress to be refashioned into a twinsie dress for her daughter. Can’t wait to sew my own girl a Lola.
Lola top
It was fun, fun!! I made it for my four year old granddaughter's birthday dress. She loved it!
I love this shop
Lola is very cute and easy enough for me to sew (beginner) The instructions are super clear and easy to follow . I already have a wish list of all the patterns I will buy from VFT
Thank you for a well made pattern!
I loved this pattern! It is well-made, easy to read, and the sizing is accurate. I also downloaded the 18” Doll Lola top/dress. I modified the girl’s top to dress length and had both dresses cut, pieced, and finished in under 24hrs. My daughter loves her new dress and that she can match with her doll.
I have been waiting till the holidays passed and had some time. My daughter will be here I. A little while and I cant wait to see it on my granddaughter!
The experience was awesome. Some issue with the elastic in that it wanted to ride up in the front....I will work on that
Awesome Free Pattern
So glad I tried this pattern I am working on my 2nd now!! So easy to use VFT patterns
Love this top!
This was such an easy pattern to follow and it turned out perfectly. Most importantly my daughter loves it! I’m new to sewing and found the pattern very thorough and easy to follow.
Gorgeous top
It was one of my first sewing projects and it was really easy to follow the directions. And the top looks fantastic on my daughter, I love it .
The Lola Top pattern
I had great fun making this top for my great niece - the pattern is straight forward, I found the instructions clear, and the finished items is a lot of fun to wear. I particularly like the back fastening. Great summer top to wear over a short sleeved t shirt. I used a bizarre mix of fabrics, in an attempt to make the top look a bit bohemian - which it doesn't, it just looks lovely. The frill on the front adds just the right amount of detail to soften the front of the bib. great design which I will certainly be using again.
Love this pattern!
I’ve already made several. I loved learning the new skill of an enclosed bodice. The instructions were very clear. Several people asked for the pattern after I posted a photo of the completed dress (I added a little length to make it a dress)! Such a cute style.
Sweet and easy
This is the 1st VFT pattern I tried and it was very easy to understand and it came out adorable. I will be making more for sure!
Easy to follow with great results!
I love the basic structure of this dress and the ability to change the front to give it tons of different looks! The back elastic makes it seem like it will fit for a longer time frame than if it didn’t have that. I love this top/dress!
