Odette is a top or dress pattern that is full of style and co-designed by the talented artist, Bari J. The angel sleeve that extends down the front and back bodice is absolutely to.die.for! We love the way the sleeve flows and moves along with the wearer! So feminine and drapes beautifully!
The angel sleeve is the perfect opportunity to show off some amazing trims and fabrics! Add in mini pom-poms or lace for a super fun look or use the sleeve as way to show off a coordinating fabric!
The a-line skirt is fashionable and functional. The bodice allows for it to be the perfect canvas for your creativity. Add in embroidery, monograms, or other embellishments to make your garment pop! Odette allows for enough ease for easy on/off with simply a keyhole back for closure.

Makes a great quality garment
The pattern makes a beautiful product. My only problem with this is that I wish I had sized up. My daughters measurements fell between sizes and some other reviews said to size down. It fits, but not for long.

Love the Odette
I’ve been sewing for about 8-9 years. But I am self taught so I’ve learned things along the way with trial and error. The Odette is a beautiful pattern and is very easy to sew. I never liked the old fashioned patterns with the tissue paper pieces. They were always confusing to me and hard to understand. Your patterns and so easy to understand, clear and concise and the step by step tutorials are fantastic. I’ve boight about 7-8 patterns so far and I love each one! My daughter loves her Odette dress. It hangs very beautifully and is very flattering. The key hole back is a sweet touch. I’ve also made a short set with the Odette top. I will definitely make this again!

Beautiful dress! It did end up quite heavy - I used stretch gauze (which is not stretchy!). I think next time I wouldn’t do the inner skirt?? Love the ruffle and the look of it though!!!!

I've now made this in both a top and dress- both are beautiful! Fantastic pattern, and easy to complete. When I was a little unsure about the 'Burrito Method', I watched the VFT tutorial and understood instantly. Highly recommended
Love the finished product. Instructions could be better
I’m an experienced seamstress so some of the instructions I believe were overcomplicated and I changed them to be more efficient and more user friendly. Otherwise I love the pattern and the finished product. I have purchased many VFT patterns and will continue to do so.

I’m sorry, I love the dress, but I was very upset to discover this is a not layered pattern, You have to print more than 30 page due the poor arrangement of the pattern piece, no A0 offer. A waste of time. I hope in an update.

Loved this pattern!!! I've made two tops for my granddaughters!!! I did trim some of width on flounce, but still same affect. Loved the back as well!!!! VF always great!
