Pearl 18" Doll sewing pattern will be a favorite for all seasons. Pearl is a dress or a pinafore, both versions have the option to be fully reversible!! A sweet flutter sleeve is included, but Pearl is just as adorable sleeveless or layered over a long sleeve in cold weather.
The pinafore version can close with ties or buttons (only on the bodice). The dress version closes with buttons all the way down the back or optional velcro closure for ease of sewing and doll dressing. Pearl features a full skirt that every girl loves!
The pinafore version is sooo cute layered over the Georgia Dress Pattern (sold seperately).

I had trouble turning the bodice right side out, so I released the stitching on the neckline seam for two inches at the shoulder seam. After turning, I stitched the opening by hand. The second one was easier, as I left the opening to begin with rather than unpicking. I also backstitched the opening for more stability. They both turned out very cute. I used soft Velcro to make dressing the dolls easy for my grandchildren.
cute outcome, as always easy directions
Great easy to follow directions
Jadore vos patrons pour petite fille et poupée ! Pas encore testé pour adulte mais les patrons sont très bien détaillés et les vêtements adorables !
Nice pattern. I made the sleeveless version with ties and a fully open back as premie dresses for our hospital. Turning the bodice inside out was very difficult with the super tiny shoulder tunnel, not sure if I could have done it with flutter sleeves tucked in there! I think there has to be a better way but not sure what.
