Maybe a little advanced for me

I’m a newbie with just a sewing machine snd no serger. I had a little bit of trouble with the collar. I had a hard time understanding how to attach it to the coat/shirt. In retrospect, not that bad but I’ve never done a collar before snd more pics of this step would have been nice. This pattern inspired me to get a serger for Christmas though. I have to put in a little plug for the Facebook group. What a wonderful group of knowledgeable, helpful people. Overall, the Gracie pattern is one I’ve wanted for a while, I’m just going to practice more.
