Quick easy sew.
Great easy pattern. Turned it into a maxi and my daughter loves it. Used it for a nativity costume, but she doesn’t want to take it off
Gorgeous pattern, and so versatile! I made a Halloween dress, a Christmas dress, and two cotton play dresses from this pattern. I love how simple it is to make, but looks much more complicated.
This dress pattern is easy for a beginner and quick to make. My daughter is very pleased with her dress! The reason I gave only 4 stars is the discrepancy I noticed in the midst of sewing. In the notions section, it calls for a 1/2 yard of 3/4 inch sleeve elastic. However, a little further down where it gives the length for each elastic used in the dress, it states 11.5 inches for each sleeve. I made it work since I had other elastic, but hopefully that gets corrected! I will certainly be looking for more patterns from Violette Field!
It is an easy to sew pattern. I love the style.

Matilda - my second love!
I found out about VFT recently. Matilda was the third pattern I did. Accidently I got the tween version for my 8year old. But then after trying out the previous pattern I concluded that size 10 works better for her even though she comes under size 8. So just gave a chance and tried size 10 tween. And she loved the ease of it.. I'm relieved. This is one pattern I will be making often! An easy sew and a darling pattern.

Awesome pattern
This dress sews up quickly, looks great and the instructions taught me a few new techniques. Pre-teen patterns are hard to find and often ****. This one is adorable.
Made a romper
Beautiful pattern! lovely as a dress, but easy to convert into a romper for a special needs girl. She accepts to wear it, wich is a huge win, and she looks so much cuter than in the grey rompers she usually wears to accomodate her needs. I want to make myself one now!
Two special dresses
I made this pattern in red narrow wale corduroy for granddaughters’ Christmas dresses two years ago, so pleased that you made the tween sizes. I made two more for the same girls from embroidered chambray for them to wear to a wedding, very pleased with this easy fun pattern. They love their dresses
Cute for a Baby
I felt a couple of steps were over complicated, and did my own thing to achieve the same results. Overall, a very easy pattern that I plan to make again.
Amazing
Love this pattern, have made several already for my granddaughter and she loves all of them!!!
Great pattern, great techniques
I love this pattern! I have made probably 20 of them so far from baby to tween. I love the technique for the waist elastic and sleeves and its a quick sew!
