The Willow Tween skirt is so fun and versatile. Willow features a full skirt with rounded pockets and a faux button placket. The waistband is flat front for a polished look, but elastic back for ease of fit and comfort during wear.
Willow also features optional attached suspenders that tie in a bow on the back. They are so cute over tees and blouses. The skirt is designed to fall 1-2" above the knee, but can easily be lengthened (or shortened) to suit your individual style.

Easy to sew
I bought this pattern to make the skirt for my Granddaughter. The fabric I used was busy enough without adding the faux placket or straps. My Granddaughter is 9 years old. I have to buy tween size patterns for her because the child sized are too tight. Although she is average size. Anyway this skirt was easy and fast to put together. All of these patterns are very well explained. Then, her Mum wanted one as well. So I just made the larger size for her one. Both of them are delighted with their matching skirts, but different fabric.
