I bought this pattern to make the outfit for my Granddaughters. I have never made the long length ties which go through the top and bottom of the tops. I was delighted with the clear explanation of how to make it. I had been putting off making them because I had never done anything like that before. I was so happy that I made the ties perfectly. My Granddaughters are really pleased with the result. I only made the shorts for my almost 4 years old Granddaughter. I had to make the age 6, to fit her comfortably. If I have one small, tiny complaint, could you please make the sizes bigger than they are. I find that most of the items are just a bit too tight for the sizes suggested. But all in all. I love all of the Voilette Fields patterns that I bought.
The blouse came together beautifully and turned out just like the photo. The shorts are super cute but I have to size down several sizes or the tie looks funny. Over all the pattern is so cute and I will be making more of this for my girlie!
This top was a bit more challenging than I am used to, but I made it through! The real success is that my daughter is wearing it now and she loves it. I am going to try making another again soon.
