The Eloise Shorts are an adorable ruched bubble short! The legs feature tiny gathers at the bottom hem and elastic leg casings. The shorts front features ruching to slightly draw up the shorts front for a super stylish summer short.
The front is flat and gives a polished look, while the back is elastic for ease of fit and room to grow.
The Eloise shorts are perfectly paired with the Madelyn top and they can be purchased together in a Bundle Listing.
(The Eloise shorts do not include the suspenders. They are paired with the Jacqueline Suspders, which are available in the shop.)

really love how these came out. Made 3 for my daughter. Size 5. The only thing is the waist bands do not match the front and back of the shorts. Says you're supposed to gather the back of the shorts to match the waist band but you can't because they're exact length. But the front of the shorts is too long for the front waist band. I made it work but its very confusing in that part. Other than that, the shorts are super cute. My daughter loves them. Next is the Piper dress I'm going to make her. Thank you for these patterns.
This pattern is clearly written, and the shorts have such cute details. They come together quickly and easily, and they are just adorable. My girl wears them with tops and under dresses. Thank you!
The pattern was so quick to cut and sew. The pattern runs a bit on the small side though. Having said that, i've cut another 2 out!
Sort of a cross between a bloomer and a short this garment was easy to make and so cute. I felt a little confused about the part where you pull part of the front into the back waistband. A clarifying photo would help. My back and front side seam on size 6 was about 1/4 “ off. But overall, very good results!
Loved these Could make them in under an hour and this was the best part. Fab
