As always the instructions are easy to follow with great images just in case. The dress was simple to make and looks beautiful
The arrangement of the pieces is amazingly wasteful. Moving the pieces around could decrease the of pages printed. The instructions are very long, pattern is complicated, I’m going to look for some ways to simplify it, I like the design but the dress takes too long to make.
So cute. I have made 3 versions and many more in future
I did have a time with the button hole and my machine getting caught on the waistband. I won’t do. That again. I would do a lot more of the patterns came as A0 files with layers.
I’m a fairly novice sewist who is mostly used to making masks - this was my first VFT pattern. The directions were clear enough that the dress I made for my daughter turned out great. I learned some new techniques, got lots of practice with stuff I was a bit rusty at, and best of all I made something lovely. VFT patterns are fantastic, and I immediately bought and made more after finishing Shiloh. Highly recommend!
Love this pattern. So adorable. I'm making different ones for 2 different families. The only thing is the pattern instructions were a little hard to see when I printed the instructions and wound up viewing parts on my computer, mainly for the first one, until I understood what was what.
