Way too small

I thought this doll pattern was supposed to fit the American Girl dolls. It's way too small and I only used 1/4 inch seams. I didn't have the doll with me in NC when I made the dress to match the one I made my 4 year old granddaughter. I was very disappointed that the doll dress didn't fit when I gave the dresses to her this weekend in NY.

Mary,

We are so sorry that your dress did not fit! We have had this pattern tested and it has sold many copies and it does fit 18' American Girl Dolls. Is there any chance your test square did not measure 1' after printing? Even a 16th of an inch off can dramatically reduce the finished product.
