It’s great to be able to print, but printer paper is so thick so that’s the downside!
Just love it. The pockets make all the difference!
Superb - love using these patterns
Easy to make and the girls love them!
I’m relatively new (and bad) at sewing but this pattern was incredibly easy. I used velvet which did make it trickier, but it has become a beautiful Christmas dress

A go to pattern
This is the perfect knit dress pattern. It is super cute, has pockets, and the instructions are easy to follow. I have made 2 and plan on making pleanty more.

Beautiful
Beautiful pattern. I used this as the base dress for my 5 year old Granddaughters Halloween costume.. Will definitely make more for everyday wear!

Haven't used it yet but plan to soon.

Way too small
My daughter's chest is 18.5, and her waist is also 18.5". I sized up and made a 2T for longer wearing. I made this dress in both CL and dbp, thinking I would just crank out two at a time. My mistake! I could just barely get the dress on her and the sleeves and chest were so tight there's no way she could have worn it in public or even comfortably around the house. The pockets and skirt are adorable, but I had to remake the bodice and sleeves with a different pattern. I checked my 1" square and the pattern printed to scale.

awesome!

Ivy Dress
This pattern, like all of the VFT patterns, was a pleasure to work with. It's a great pattern with a good tutorial. I made two dresses from brushed print knits and they both passed the "twirl test" and got lots of compliments. Thanks for making such wonderful patterns!

Love it!
Have only printed it and read the instructions. Another wonderful pattern from VFT!

Pattern complications
Hard to see with the knit fabric- especially the first few steps. Why can’t the fabric just be tucked under? When I sewed the back keyhole piping, the knit fabric I chose stuck out a lot and it looked extremely weird when the dress was completed... like my daughter had bumps on her back. Also, directions were weird on which steps to skip for the flounce- loved the pictures of the dress in the ads, just didn’t quite turn out that way for me.
