Julia Shorts & Dress Jumper
digital pdf sewing pattern
$10.95
Julia is a darling pattern that can be made as a jumper dress or as shorts. The Julia Dress has 2 length options: a Layering Length and a Regular Length. The Layering Length is designed to layer over a dress, so that the dress underneath can peek out several inches. Julia layered over a dress is a super cute way to pair coordinating fabrics! It should hit several inches above the knee. The Regular Length is to wear with other great Violette Field Threads tops such as Talulah, Margot, or the Ivy Bodysuit. The regular length Julia dress is designed to hit above the knee in a modest length.
Julia has functioning button plackets in the front that allow for easy dressing. The back waistband has an elastic casing for a comfortable fit. The Julia straps can be worn straight or criss crossed and secure in the front with a button.

Wanted to add a photo to my other review
Directions and pattern were straightforward and easy to follow, although I have to admit I did some hacking to achieve the look I was going for with the added ruffle. I used corduroy and the ruffles were quite a challenge! I do love the end look though and I think it's pretty darn cute!
If it weren’t for Julia I wouldn’t be sewing! It was my inspiration to keep going. My granddaughter loved it and I had so much fun selling it. I started this journey not knowing much about sewing but the pattern. Took me step by step !
I haven’t begun this project yet, but I’m excited about it.
This is the perfect B2S outfit for my girl. It’s so hot in the south when school starts and I wanted to make sure she’d stay nice and cool while still absolutely adorable, of course ,). I paired it with the Alexandra Top.
