The Maisie dress is a cute quick sew. The dress has many different options for mixing and matching fabric prints. I added the under skirt, I also used the biases tape on the inside to cover up the seems where I attached the skirt.
Such a sweet dress
I fell in love with the scoop back of Maisie. It came together nicely and fit my 5 year old perfectly (size 5). She loved wearing it. I plan to make several more. Thank you for designing such beautiful clothing.
Easy to follow instructions and went together without a problem.
It's a great pattern and I love the dress I made with it. But some of the photos aren't much clear to see details and so it make it dificult because I'm not a profesional. Thank you

Great, easy directions! I have been sewing for a long time, but this was one of the easiest patterns I ever used. Hardest part was printing and piecing the patterns.
Review of Maisie Top & Dress by Linda Mattison
Great pattern and so pretty. I added a ruffle at the hem on my first sew and I was extremely pleased with it!
Great! I did this as
Great! I did this as a Sew Along and posted it in my Etsy shop! Adorable
Enjoyed every minute
This pattern was so fun to make. The sizing was perfect and the instructions were so easy to follow. I’m not the most seasoned dress maker but the finished product looks flawless.
Maisie top & dress
What a beautiful pattern. The directions are wonderful and it turns out so beautiful. Loved making my own bias and an external zipper
It was a pretty quick sew, instructions were great as always and I think you can use a lot of different trims to make each dress or top unique.
Love this dress!
I love this dress so much. It was easy to sew and turned out perfect! The sizes are accurate which is awesome! I highly recommend this pattern!
Simple, love the back
Easy to make, love the scooped back and used an exposed zipper. Dress does run shorter even when I used the longer skirt version, made size 5 for my very petite and short 3 yr old. I added a sash and fuller skirt. Almost missed the instructions to gather the “cuff” of sleeve, well hidden in the instructions.
This was a fun sew and my daughter just loves it.
Love all your patterns.
I’ve used bunches of your patterns and love them all!
A beautiful dress and a pretty easy sew.
I haven’t sewn with wovens in such a long time not to mention installing a zipper! The directions were so easy and clear it was a pleasant experience and the dress is absolutely darling! I will be definitely making some more.
I absolutely love your patterns.
I made Maisie for my youngest granddaughter. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow. I have sewn quite a bit but mostly home dec and quilts in the last ten years or so. Your patterns have a lot of detail but your clear instructions make it very easy to implement. Thank you!!
I couldn’t figure out how to even cut it out from all the sheets of paper. I didn’t see any instructions. I’ve been sewing all my life but I gave up on this. Sorry.
