This top was really easy to sew, instructions and pictures very clear...
The only problem I realized unfortunately after I finished it is that the front skirt it's too short if you don't add ruffles....so keep in mind to add maybe 1 or 2 inches at the front skirt if you want to cover your baby belly!
I made already 2 other top and planning to add length to make a dress wirh this pattern.
Reallt easy and fast sewing
I love this pattern. So easy to follow easy to put together. I’ve made 2 so far plan to make many more.
I really enjoyed making this top for my girl. The only thing I didn't realize until after I was finished is how short it is in the front if you don't add the ruffle hem. No big deal though. I just make sure that she has a shirt on underneath so her belly doesn't show.
This top pattern was great
As expected the pattern and instructions were easy to follow along with good measurements.
While I have sewn other VFT patterns with knit fabrics this was my first time sewing a VFT pattern specifically designed for them.
They covered a lot of tricks and tips for knits I’ve learned the “hard,” way and the pattern itself was a perfect fit. I used the chart measurements to pick a size and went for the 18 months. This pattern is a really valuable closet staple. It’s “dressy,” enough to be such a pretty little girl addition to a closet but also enough of a casual fit that it’s comfortable and relaxed for “every day,” I paired up the top with a simple version of the Betsy leggings.
I’ve come to expect a high level of quality with fit and instruction from VFT and this pattern did not disappoint.
This was a fun and quick sew. It is a darling top and I will be making more of them. The instructions were very clear.
