A match made in heaven: The Harper + Lulu Bundle
Harper is a woven dolman dress with a round high neckline. The Harper bodice features front darts to allow for a tailored waistline. Harper can be sewn with short sleeve or an elbow length sleeve with a cute ruffle. Harper also includes an optional collar and waist sash. The Harper bodice closes with buttons down the back and does have a skirt placket. You can sew the Harper pattern as a top length or dress length.
Lulu is a darling pinafore that layers wonderfully over your favorite Violette Field Threads dress. Lulu is a woven circle skirt high-waisted pinafore. The cute suspender style straps are held together in the back with either ribbon ties or a little button tab. Lulu features a short zipper closure in the back.

Love It!
I literally just started sewing. My grandmother taught me when I was around 7 but since then I never had a sewing machine or a passion for it. But I started now again almost 20 years later because I have a little girl and a friend of mine gave me an old sewing machine from the ‘50’s that still works. I tried the London pattern as my first sewing and it was so much fun. The Lulú pinafore is super easy for beginners. I am still working on making Harper but the instructions seem pretty straight forward. And the dress is so beautiful. I wish they made outfits for boys too. I would totally buy them for my 2 year old boy.

I love love LOVEEE this pattern it is my new go to because you can make so many outfits out of it. With lulu without, different harper sleeves. Its just so VERSATILE! 10/10 recommend

Lulu pinafore
This pattern is very straight forward, i found hemming the circle skirt the hardest. Follow the instructions and it works. I love VFT patterns and won’t use anything else.
