Shiloh -the sweetest little summer dress! Shiloh is a woven top or dress with a bib style front bodice and two back bodice options including: an elastic back closure with criss-cross straps that button at the side seam. The straps can also be sewn with optional full or partial flutters. A button back option is also included providing more coverage and ties at the neck.
The Shiloh skirt can be sewn with a gathered traditional skirt or a super full gathered circle skirt. Regardless of the style you create - this pattern will quickly become a summer staple.

The straps are a little tricky, but doable and worth the trouble. I wish VFT patterns allowed the highlighting and note taking feature on the PDF.

I love getting options from one pattern and with Shiloh I definitely got two of the best styles for summer in one pattern. Its easy to follow instructions make it a breeze to whip up this dress that just screams to be twirled! I made both options right away and they BOTH are my favorite! I call that a win, win!

Skirt length too short in 4T
This is not my favorite dress. I don't have my granddaughter here to try it on her, but it appears that it runs very small. I know the suggestion is to measure her, however, that's not as easy as it should be. Busy Momma with newborn and 3 year that doesn't always like to cooperate. I took my chances and went with her current size 4T. She's not chubby or extra thin, just what I would call a normal size. The skirt is VERY short and I need to come up with a plan to lengthen it. I plan to use piping and add the boarder print to the bottom.

My daughter loves her dress!
This is such a sweet dress for the summer warm months. I am not the best at sewing so it took me a quite a bit of time to finish them. But I was making two of them during the week long sew along. But it was so worth it. My daughter loves it and I cannot wait to see my niece’s face when she gets her dress. :) I did get a little faster at sewing it the second time around. I would suggest reading all instructions once before starting so you have a basic idea of What you will be doing.

Beautiful dress, pattern made it easy to sew
This dress had a lot of complicated parts but the pattern made it easy to sew! I was able to make this dress in a few hours. Highly recommend.
