Hello friends!
Meet Genevieve, wait no, let me reintroduce you to Genevieve!
She was my very first pattern with VFT and I am excited to breath some life back into her. I made a few changes but still keeping the same feel and esthetics. Plus, I added a new bodice option. WAHOOOO!!!
Here is the list of changes and updates:
-Consistent ease between all sizes.
-Less ease then the original to have a more tailored fit. Now 1 3/4" ease in the chest and 2" in the waist.
-Slightly different construction on the bodice. Especially with the sleeveless version and creating a more efficient and faster process.
-NEW additional bodice option!
-Same amazing simple or bubble skirt.
-Layered pattern pieces.
-Child and baby size groups. 2-9/10 and 0-3 months- 18-24 months
-Skirt length fall above the knee for a more vintage feel.
So, a lot of great changes but of course has the same great look!!
Let me show you the NEW bodice (Style B)!! It has a gathered front bodice and a curved almost vest like back bodice. The finishing touch is to top is with a bow. The bow is sewn into the back bodice and tied at the top. I feel it gives Genevieve a more modern feel.
