Hey friends!! In celebration of Nora being the $5.00 Weekend Pattern (9/8-9/10), our tester team and myself have come up with some really fabulous Nora modifications and pattern hacks. We have some fun ideas how you can use Nora as a base to create some really special {and simple} new looks!

Today is our final SAL day.  It's a bittersweet day for me.  I adore seeing all of the lovely creations flooding our FB group, but I also get sad that our work is done for the month.  At any rate, let's get started so we can admire all of our efforts!

Day 4 is upon us, and I don't know about you, but I am getting antsy to get this bodice finished!  Normally when I sew, I push through and try to get everything done in one sitting.  I am an instant gratification type of sewer, so Sew-a-Long weeks take me a little out of my comfort zone, and let me slow down and enjoy the entire sewing process.

Day 3 and today we get to SEW!!!  YAY!  Before we start I wanted to share with you a little bit about how I do the Sew-a-Longs.  Since we don't decide the SAL pattern until the Friday before we start, I often don't have time to sew ahead. 

It's a beautiful day for Day 2 of our Pepper Sew-a-Long!  It's warm and sunny here, my kids are on their best behavior, and the oldest is at performing arts camp all day!  That means I'm ready to hit the ground running for our Day 2 tasks!

August is already here.  That means summer is coming to an end and school is right around the corner.  And what better way to celebrate the end of summer than with a Back-to-school Sew-a-Long!  Pepper won the August vote by a landslide, and quite honestly, it is the quintessential BTS dress!  Pepper is one of my most favorite dress patterns.  I adore the peter pan collar and classic silhouette.  And best of all, Pepper comes in a HUGE size range, from baby through tween!!  That means for this SAL, we've got everyone covered!
